The Department of International and Comparative Politics at the 2023 51³Ô¹Ï announces a call for participation in an annual International Crisis Game “War in Ukraine and its Implications for the World Orderâ€� on April 9-10, 2022


The ICP department is pleased to announce a call for participation for students majoring in political science orÌýinternationalÌýrelations and willing to share their ideas and expertise, gain a deeper understanding of globalÌýissues, and cultivate public speaking, teamwork, and strategic thinking skills.

This year, theÌýcrisisÌýgameÌýwill simulate ongoing dramatic developments in Ukraine as Russia’s invasion continues to ramp up causing mass civilian casualties and prompting severe economic sanctions by Western countries. The game will examine a range of possible scenarios for the war and its profound impact on the future of Europe and the global order.

The event intends to raise the awareness among students about the complex nature of theÌýinternationalÌýsystem, provide an experiential understanding of the behavior of relevant political actors, and examine the widerÌýinternationalÌýcontext of the ongoing war in Ukraine.

TheÌýgameÌýis open to any English language speaking students from universities in Bishkek and beyond.
