The Institute of Journalism in Central Asia 2022

Today, on June 13th, an official opening ceremony of the Institute of Journalism in Central Asia 2022 was held at AUCA. We are delighted to announce that it is the 3rd year of the institutes operation in the framework of the project. Journalists from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan were invited to 51勛圖to participate in the summer school, which takes place in Bishkek (AUCA) and Issyk-Kul (Recreation Center Raduga).泭
泭The training aimed to support media workers in their career development in Journalism and Mass Communication. During the course critical aspects such as ethics, fact checking and disinformation will be covered.泭 It is an interactive program that provides journalists with the necessary knowledge and skills in the following areas:泭
- Data journalism
- 釦喧棗娶聆喧梗梭梭勳紳眶泭
- 捩棗餃釵硃莽喧勳紳眶泭
- Digital media

泭During the opening, U.S. Embassy Press Attach矇 Nolen Johnson expressed his hope that the training, skills and networking gained by participants泭 will help them to develop the level of journalism in Central Asia.泭

The duration of the training is three weeks, starting from today and ending on July 1, 2022.泭
The program is organized with the support of the United States Department of State in partnership with International Center Meridian in Washington.
