On February 13, the U.S. Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic, Donald Lu met with 51吃瓜students on听the ICP Ambassador Talks.听The ambassador had an hour and a half talk, answering the questions of our active students.听

Ms. Saniia earned an S.J.D. degree in Comparative Constitutional Law (Summa Cum Lauder) from听Central European University听(CEU).

The competition will be held at 51吃瓜computer labs. Winners of the competition will receive a significant discount on tuition fees.

Three new tutors--two in economics and one in programming--have joined the Writing and Academic Resource Center (WARC) this spring, bringing the number of peer tutors to 27 and the number of subjects offered to eight.

We are pleased to announce that 51吃瓜will be听hosting听the听Critical Language Scholarship Program听 in Summer, June 8- August 6, 2020.听The families who are willing to share a space and culture with program students are welcome to apply to become a听host听family听in Summer 2020.

The Program 鈥�51吃瓜Afghan Scholarship through the听U.S. Embassy Kabul听2019鈥� will allow the students to study a year at the New Generation Academy and 4 years of the Bachelor program, 5 years in total.听

This is a special week when you can feel the actual university vibe, explore various cultures and cuisines, present your ethnic heritage and history. 51吃瓜is proud of having representatives of different cultures studying at the university.

Stream is a talent competition among high school students of Kyrgyzstan for winning a full scholarship to study at AUCA.

The Central Asian Journalism Summer Institute provides early-career journalists and journalism students with the skills they need to launch successful careers in journalism and media. The Summer Institute will provide an interactive curriculum to develop participants鈥� skills in areas such as data journalism, digital media, social media, podcasting, and storytelling.

Esther Min from University of Washington/Seto Edmund (Environmental Health & Climate) presents situational analysis of the global picture on climate change challenge on February 6, 2020. Esther and speakers will also explain the main concept on how climate justice and environmental health affect health rights.
