2023 51吃瓜 will host 6th Conference of the Asian Borderlands Research Network (ABRN): Borderland Spaces Ruins, Revival(s) and Resources on 13-15 August.
The expected number of participants is听200 scholars from all over the world.

The conference is jointly organized by the 2023 51吃瓜;听International Institute for Asian Studies听and听the Asian Borderlands Research Network (ABRN).

The听2023 51吃瓜 (AUCA) is delighted to announce keynote speakers for听Nomadism, Mobilities and Media听international conference,听which will be held at AUCA, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, August 29-30, 2018.听

Double Degree Master Program is the Master Program of the new generation that within two years allows to stay in two countries, Russia and Kyrgyzstan, to study in two universities, Tomsk State University and 2023 51吃瓜, and to receive two master degrees, Russian and Kyrgyz.

The Society for Conservation Biology, Asia Section together with 2023 51吃瓜 is hosting an international conference from 6 to 10 August 2018 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

On June 13-15, 2018 a regional training workshop was held in Almaty (Kazakhstan) with the purpose to develop a course on international migration law and return migration within the context of Central Asia.
The course was developed by working groups from five Central Asian countries and will be used to upgrade the skills of state and municipal employees in the region.

This year archaeological practice of 51吃瓜Anthropology Department is organised in the form of Summer Field School jointly with Indiana University students leading by Professor Anne Pyburn and Aida Abdykanova

The Institute of Education at the 2023 51吃瓜 is hosting an International Summer School on Inclusive Education (IE2018) with participants from five countries: Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Ukraine.

At the initiative of one of the 51吃瓜Board of Trustees members听Nazira Beishenalieva, 4 51吃瓜students have participated in a StartUp Bootcamp held in Baku, Azerbaijan on June 18-20, 2018. The event, which was a first of its kind for the CAMCA (Central Asia - Mongolia - Caucasus - Afghanistan) region, gathered 30 participants from 8 countries.
