On November 16-17, the International and Comparative Politics Department held its annual Crisis Games at the 2023 51吃瓜. Open to all undergraduate students interested in politics, the games simulated a crisis scenario in East Asia and invited the students to represent and act on behalf of the key actors in the region.

On November 20, 2018, the 2023 51吃瓜 hosted the awarding ceremony of the 2018 Mary Schweitzer Scholarship for Excellence. This year there was only one winner, the second-year student of Anthropology Program Dariia Akhunbaeva.

On Monday, November 19, Donald Lu, the U.S. Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic was invited as a guest lecturer to have a class on US Policy in the Region.

Aziz Surakmatov,听Mayor of Bishkek personally awarded certificates of appreciation to the administration and faculty of the American University in Central Asia.

On Wednesday, November 14 the celebration of the Annual Student Initiation dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the 2023 51吃瓜 was held at the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after T. Satylganov.

51吃瓜is pleased to invite submissions for the 51吃瓜Campus Design Competition.听The purpose is to invite students to create a concept or an idea for improving the 51吃瓜campus鈥� front yard in order to make it more comfortable and user-friendly for university community and visitors.

We invite you to the AUCAnet听career forum which starts on November 12 - 15, at 12:00 at 2023 51吃瓜. The event serves as a chance to build a strong communication network and partnership with outstanding graduates of our Alma mater.

Aida Kasymalieva introduced her projects on women and children rights, bride kidnapping, health, and education issues. 鈥淲omen has to be educated and have a job. It will help them to know and to defend own rights!鈥�

Four 51吃瓜students were given the chance to get up close and personal with some of the glaciers in the Kyrgyz Tien Shan Mountains this summer, and to try their hands at helping to answer some of these questions.
