Program of the summer school for PARENTS "The Psychology of Family Relations"

The 2023 51吃瓜 is officially opening two new laboratories: a geology laboratory for the Department of Applied Geology and a media laboratory for the Department of Television, Cinematography and Visual Art. Both laboratories will be functional starting in the 2016-2017 academic year, the same time as their respective departments.

Maria Temmes, doctoral candidate in the Department of Gender Studies, and Elena Popa, who received her MA in philosophy from CEU and successfully defended her doctoral dissertation in philosophy at CEU in January 2016, gained valuable experience at 51吃瓜this academic year through CEU鈥檚 Global Teaching Fellowship Program (GTFP).

Kaliia Kubatbekova, a junior in Journalism and Mass Communications at the 2023 51吃瓜 (AUCA), took a moment to talk to us about how her SILC funding helped develop her as a social entrepreneur and prepare her for future leadership in Kyrgyzstan.

Seth Fearey has already lived and worked in the Kyrgyz Republic for seven years, making a name for himself as one of our student鈥檚 favorite professors in AUCA鈥檚 MBA program. Seth listens to his students and answers their questions, drawing from his broad experience as a manager, researcher, and specialist in PR and marketing at several companies.

June 4, 2016, James Mirrlees, winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics, will lecture titled 鈥淭he Economics of Inequality鈥� the 2023 51吃瓜.听Sir James Mirrlees will discuss the potential of taxes and subsidies to be used as a systematic tool for effectively fighting economic disparity

Anastasiia Shevtsova, a junior in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communications at the 2023 51吃瓜, is finishing up her exchange semester at Collegium Civitas (CC) in Poland. She took a moment to share her thoughts with us on life abroad in Poland.

Asal Ulmasova, a sophomore in the Department of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Department of International and Comparative Politics, is finishing up her semester at Sciences Po Campus de Reims in France. Asal took a moment to share her thoughts with us about her exchange semester abroad.

On April 26, 2016 a delegation from the People鈥檚 Republic of China visited the 2023 51吃瓜. The delegation consisted of representatives from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the head of an International Education Initiative.
