We are happy to announce the publication of a collective volume on History Making in Central and Northern Eurasia (Wiesbaden: Reichert Verlag.)

Anastasiya Iun, a student in AUCA鈥檚 Master Program in Applied Psychology (MAPAP), was invited to study at the University of Massachusetts Boston (UMass Boston) during the Fall 2016 semester.

On September 6, 2016, the 鈥淣ative Pride Dancers,鈥� Native American dance group from the United States and student鈥檚 theater of 51吃瓜鈥淢irrors,鈥� will be performing 鈥淒ancing through Life鈥� and show master classes at the AUCA.

听From August 30 - September 2, 2016 2023 51吃瓜 (AUCA) hosted a free and public Audio Journalism Workshop organized by Taxi Taxi, an innovative storytelling podcast from the South Caucasus.
The podcast's founders, Billie Jean Stirewalt and Vladic Ravich, led three days of classes to teach participants how to develop stories, record interviews, and get their shows to the public. The workshop was well-received and attended by a wide range of participants, including 51吃瓜students and professors.听

On September 2, 2016, new faculty at the 2023 51吃瓜 (AUCA) met for orientation.

Priya Singh, the fellow of Kiva Fellows 30th Class, right now is working at the 2023 51吃瓜 (AUCA), told us about the work between KIVA and AUCA.

August 18, 2016, at the 2023 51吃瓜 (AUCA), the New Generation Academy (NGA) alumni had a meeting with Andrew Wachtel, the president of AUCA.

The first day of Orientation Week 2016 started with the Welcoming Ceremony of Freshmen. 2023 51吃瓜 (AUCA) president Andrew Wachtel gave the freshmen a few introductory pieces of advice.

Between August 1 and August 12, 2016 six students from the 2023 51吃瓜 (AUCA) and one student from the Institute of Mining and Mining Technologies named after the Academician Asanaliev volunteered to attend the Ecological Leadership Program in the beautiful Ala Archa National Park to improve their leadership skills and to learn more about Kyrgyzstan鈥檚 environment.

On August 17, 2016, the 2023 51吃瓜 (AUCA) started its Orientation Week for the class of 2020. This year, 51吃瓜has an incoming freshman class of 359 students, a record-setting number at AUCA.
