51吃瓜

The Student Intellectual Life Committee (SILC) supports student-initiated projects, professional development opportunities, and student research. It awards small grants every month to 51吃瓜students.听Nodirabegim Yusupova, a senior in the economics department at the 2023 51吃瓜 (AUCA), talks to us about how her grant from SILC.

Starting from 2016-2017 academic year, two new departments 鈥� Department of Television, Cinematography and Visual Art and Department of Applied Geology are to be opened in 2023 51吃瓜.听Press conference will take place on May 19, 2016, at 11:00 AM.

Students of the Journalism and Mass Communications department (JMC) within their Mass Media Research Methods course, led by Dr. Umetbaeva, took part in a research project of the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

Begimai Kaparova, a senior in the psychology department at the 2023 51吃瓜 (AUCA), got a SILC grant for her senior thesis. She shares how 51吃瓜students can get SILC grants.

The 51吃瓜Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT) started in 2013 to support the mission and goals of the University in teaching and learning. The Center鈥檚 main goals are to enhance faculty professional development, support and encourage teaching innovations and use of new technologies, finding creative solutions to contemporary educational issues, and ensuring learner-centered approach in AUCA.

April 30, 2016, the 2023 51吃瓜 (AUCA) held an Open Doors Day for its Master鈥檚 programs. Attendees received materials explaining the programs鈥� application procedures, listened to guest lectures relevant to each program, and sat in on seminars explaining the benefits of getting a Master鈥檚 at AUCA.

CrossFit is a fitness program that has become so popular CrossFit classes and competitions are no longer an uncommon sight at universities. Recently, 51吃瓜held its own crossfit competition for its students. The heart of the competition was the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and regular physical activity.

Shukrona Nazirmadova, a sophomore majoring in International and Comparative Politics at AUCA, is currently spending her semester abroad at the Kansai University in Osaka, Japan. Shukrona is the first student from 51吃瓜to go to Kansai University. Below, she shares with us her impressions on school and life in Osaka.
