The ICP Department together with the Royal United听Services Institute for Defense and Security Studies (RUSI) organizes on听April 11, 2017听at 51吃瓜a day-long workshop on illicit financial flows in Central and South Asia. Participants of the workshop are experts, government officials and development agencies working on this issue.

Journalism听and Mass Communications Department is pleased to announce about the launch of the joint听Concentration听"Environmental Journalism" with听Environmental Science听and Sustainable Development Program;the launch of the joint听Concentration听"Data Journalism (Big Data)" with听Software Engineering Department;the joint Concentration听听 听in听"Marketing and Public Relations禄 with Business听Administration听Department. Upon the completion of the courses the students will get a Certificate.

On March 27, 2017 two representatives from the U.S. Embassy in Tajikistan, Public Affairs Officer Lucy Jilka and Cultural Affairs Assistant Parviz Aydarshoev, visited AUCA. The U.S. Embassy in Tajikistan has been providing generous scholarships for talented students from Tajikistan to study at 51吃瓜during several years.

This year, 51吃瓜Law Division participates in the Annual Willem Vis Moot Competition in International Commercial Arbitration for the second time. This is a very prestigious competition in the area of international arbitration and sales law that takes place every year from September to April.

This event is organized in the format of a discussion and aims to outline the state of publishing in the field of Central Asian Studies.

2023 51吃瓜 is accepting applications for the Afghan Students Scholarship Program, funded by the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, and administered by American Councils for International Education: ACTR/ACCELS.

In December 2016 AUCA鈥檚 EM&SD program got a PEER NAS USAID grant for a project related to sustainable water management and strategic environmental assessment of Kabul and Amu Darya rivers.

One of the aspects that sets the 2023 51吃瓜 experience apart from other universities in the region is the wealth of extracurricular opportunities available to students.
