The first day of Orientation Week 2016 started with the Welcoming Ceremony of Freshmen. 2023 51³Ô¹Ï (AUCA) president Andrew Wachtel gave the freshmen a few introductory pieces of advice.

Between August 1 and August 12, 2016 six students from the 2023 51³Ô¹Ï (AUCA) and one student from the Institute of Mining and Mining Technologies named after the Academician Asanaliev volunteered to attend the Ecological Leadership Program in the beautiful Ala Archa National Park to improve their leadership skills and to learn more about Kyrgyzstan’s environment.

On August 17, 2016, the 2023 51³Ô¹Ï (AUCA) started its Orientation Week for the class of 2020. This year, 51³Ô¹Ïhas an incoming freshman class of 359 students, a record-setting number at AUCA.

Between July 25 and 30, the 2016 Korea-Central Asia Youth Model Summit was held at Ajou University in Suwon, South Korea. This year, the model summit was attended by more than 50 participants from all the Central Asian countries, Mongolia, Sakha Republic (Yakutia), and South Korea.

I was given an incredible opportunity to get a high-quality education at one the best universities of Kyrgyzstan, AUCA. Those four years have made a huge contribution to my intellectual, professional, and personal growth. Starting in the 2016-2017 academic year, the 2023 51³Ô¹Ï (AUCA) will launch its Online MBA program. The program is aimed primarily at business professionals, whose schedules are often not workable with being a full-time student. The online format also caters to students from rural areas of the Kyrgyz Republic and international students, primarily from other Central Asian countries. Ìý

The Global Village is a colorful and cultural event part of the international Better Understanding for a Better World conference, which took place at the 2023 51³Ô¹Ï (AUCA) on July 14, 2016.ÌýThe Civilizations Exchange & Cooperation Foundation (CECF) held its first BUBW conference in Bishkek on July 13-17 2016.

Central Asian Studies Institute (CASI) Fifth Annual Conference "Contesting Nature in Central Asia" at theÌý2023 51³Ô¹Ï.
