December 8, 2015 four 51吃瓜students received scholarships to study in South Korea from Jae Chang Lee, the Chief Executive Officer of the 鈥淛aechang Lee鈥� Skin Clinic.听

On November 29, 2015, New Generation Academy (NGA) administration and alumni arranged a 鈥淒ay of the Culture鈥� for NGA students. NGA students enrolled in the 2015-2016 academic year visited the Kyrgyz State Museum of History with faculty and some alumni.

On December 2, 2015 students from the Silk Road International School in Bishkek toured AUCA. Fifteen fifth-year school children visited the university鈥檚 library, gym, conference hall, media laboratory, dance studio, and classrooms.

November 19 - 24, 2015 two Practice Pasture Management Training Courses on Sustainable Pasture Management were held by Dr. Zheenbek Kulenbekov during his Environmental and Social Impact Assessment courses at AUCA.

Saule Suleimeinova is, among other things, a cellophane painter. She is one of Kazakhstan鈥檚 most profound artists. Her work has been exhibited around CIS countries, the U.S. and Europe.听Suleimeinova arrived October 24 to participate in Topografica, the art exhibition currently up at AUCA, and got to work immediately.

Nuriza Begalieva, a Senior in the European Studies department, spent an exchange semester this spring at Sciences Po, Reims, in France. There she studied the politics of France and the European Union while also improving her French.

On November 14, 2015 AUCA鈥檚 student television group 51吃瓜TV was awarded 鈥淏est Social Youth Project of the Year鈥� by Jashtar Camp 2015, held in the Kyrgyz National Library.

On December 5th, 2015,听AUCA鈥檚 business consulting group supported by USAID and the 51吃瓜Career Center will be holding the 鈥淪TUDENT FOCUS鈥� forum intended for student entrepreneurship.

On November 20, 2015 NATO Liaison Officer/Head of Office in Central Asia Ms. Rosaria Puglisi visited AUCA.听At AUCA, Puglisi saw the NATO Multimedia Corner and the University Library.
