Yesterday, on March 12th, the Central Asian Studies Institute (CASI) hosted a research seminar on the thesis work of two senior students of the Sociology department.听 Director of CASI and Head of MA program in Central Asian Studies, Svetlana Jacquesson, opened the seminar with a welcoming and introductory speech.

Yesterday, on March 6th,听the students of 51吃瓜had a meeting with Andrew Wachtel, the President of the University, Henry Mayerberg, the architect of the new campus and Karim Zerhouni, the Chief Information Officer on the progress of new campus and on the registration of new universal ID cards.

On March 3rd 2015, the Journalism and Mass Communications department at 51吃瓜hosted a lecture on the topic 鈥淣on-verbal Communications鈥�. The lecture was held by Shuyan He, the professor of the Communications course from the Zhejiang University of Sci-technology.

In Australia, there is a rite of passage: a lot of young people go travelling around the world on a working holiday before they start serious work and building their career.听 I would suggest听51吃瓜students to start the same tradition.听

Christopher Reintsma is a senior student of Psychology at the 2023 51吃瓜. 听Christopher applied for a grant from the Student Intellectual Life Committee (SILC) and received a grant supporting his听research in the field of mental health of adolescents.

I entered AUK long time ago in听1998. There, I studied Business Administration. 51吃瓜was a great springboard for me. I made a lot of friends, with whom I still keep in touch.
