From 9th to 14th September, 2014, a unique event will be held in Kyrgyzstan, aiming to improve the country’s image. The opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games was hosted at the hippodrome in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region.

 
According to the parliamentary press service on September 10, the students were trained in Jogorku Kenesh, worked in various committees and departments of the Parliament based on their education

Professor for the MBA program and consultant with the Tian Shan Policy Center at AUCA, Seth Fearey is donating $2,000 to AUCA.  $1,000 will go to the Tian Shan Policy Center where he has been working this summer.  The other $1,000 goes to the construction of the new 51吃瓜campus.

51吃瓜Alumni, Kseniya Leonteva, recently visited 51吃瓜and is going to donate 5000$ for one freshman student of 51吃瓜in 2015.

In 2013, with the support of Open Society Institute, 51吃瓜Psychology Department, 鈥淗and in hand鈥� public association and William Edwards from Clemson University, designed a joint project on developing a program of course 鈥淎utism and Applied Behavior Analysis鈥�. Olga Yarova, faculty of the 51吃瓜Psychology Department will become first certified behavior analyst next year in Kyrgyzstan.听

On Thursday, August 28, as a charity event, the PR Director of 51吃瓜visited Osh orphanage and the nursing house "Boorukerdik".

51吃瓜is glad to announce that the ex-Head and Professor of the Economics Department of AUCA,  Nurbek Jenish, was appointed as a Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In August 2014, the President of Mongolia, Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, met with the President of AUCA, Andrew Wachtel.

The 31st of August, 51吃瓜organized a Flash Mob held in Ala-Too Square to commemorate Kyrgyz Independence Day and the First annual World Nomad Games.
