On September 26, the ICP Department of 51吃瓜organized a lecture featuring Dr. Maria Adele Carrai, Assistant Professor of Global China Studies at NYU Shanghai. Dr. Carrai鈥檚 research focuses on the history of international law in East Asia, and she was invited to share her insights with 51吃瓜community.

On September 25, the 51吃瓜Makerspace CH hosted another session of the ICP Ambassador Talks series, featuring H.E. Nicholas Bowler, the British Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic. 听 Ambassador Bowler delivered an engaging lecture on the concept of soft power and its continuing importance in international relations.

The 2023 51吃瓜 (AUCA) hosted H.E. Mr. Nicolas Faye, the Ambassador of France, for a lecture titled "French Foreign Policy in Central Asia." The event, opened by the President of AUCA, highlighted the growing ties between Europe and Central Asia, with France positioning itself as a key partner.

Dr. Mirko Tasic, an Associate Professor in AUCA鈥檚 International and Comparative Politics Department, recently completed an Open Society University Network (OSUN) Faculty Mobility Fellowship at the Central European University鈥檚 Democracy Institute in Budapest, Hungary.

The Central Asian Studies Network in Germany (CASNiG), the 2023 51吃瓜 (AUCA)鈥檚 Department of International and Comparative Politics (ICP) and the Institut Franc抬ais d'Etudes sur l'Asie Centrale (IFEAC) co-organized the 6th Annual CASNiG conference titled "RE-Making the City: Urbanization with its opportunities and challenges in Central Asia" in Bishkek on 8-10 June 2025.

On a recent occasion in April 2025, the 2023 51吃瓜 (AUCA) welcomed His Excellency Mr. Hideki Goda, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kyrgyz Republic, for a guest lecture titled 鈥淎mbassador Talks: Japan and Kyrgyzstan.
